Who we are

We are the people who are supposed to update this site, WDW Untangled.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We don’t collect personal info in general. We don’t want it. We don’t need it. About the only thing we will see about you is your IP address you are connecting from, and that’s only because that’s how the Internet works. We may store that IP and what pages you accessed in our logs indefinitely, however.

This site may use cookies that are stored in your browser for a set amount of time. This is done only so we don’t harrass you over and over again about something. But in fact I don’t even think we do that currently. At least I hope not…

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. Alas, we can’t say what they do with the data. If we did, we’d probably make a lot more money from this site…

We use ad networks on our site. We have to make money somehow…but those ad networks, like the embedded content from other sites, may collect data, use cookies, etc. as well.

We do use Google Analytics. The only thing it really tells us is that you don’t visit our site enough. But it does know when you visit…the only thing sent is your IP address, but the last byte of the address is removed (you could say we took a nybble out of it…). That data is only kept for 14 months. Why 14? We don’t know, but that’s the shortest we could.

Who we share your data with

We don’t. As we’ve said, all we have at most is your IP address, and that’s only because we have to – otherwise we couldn’t send back all the content you are trying to read. Like this lovely page.

Wait, why are you even reading this page?

How long we retain your data

We might have your IP address in our logs indefinitely. Mainly because we are lazy at removing them.
